EUGENE KIM

 

Mr. Kim is the Managing Partner of Compass LKL. He has over 25 years of PE and M&A experience in Europe, Asia and the US. Most recently , Mr. Kim was a senior member of the Compass Partners leadership team investing and managing the firm's $917m European private equity fund and served on the board of directors of several of its portfolio investments. Prior to joining Compass Partners in 2004, Mr. Kim worked with Goldman Sachs and UBS in London and New York where he provided M&A advice to blue-chip clients, including Aventis, TRW, Rockwell International, Rolls Royce, and Delta Airlines, on cross border transactions around the world. Mr. Kim also worked early in his career with Apax Partners, a leading global private equity firm. Mr. Kim received his MBA from Harvard Business School, and BA in Economics and German from Williams College.
